u18's - Dorchester 27 - 17 Sherborne
Sherborne Pinks played their first match against Dorchester in impressive style .
Both teams were short of players in different age groups so the U15s played 10 a side and the U18s played 7 a side.
The U15s played a storming game and after all their summer training were able to prove to their coaches that not only had they been listening to them but they knew how to apply what they had been taught. The end result being great teamwork and their first victory under their belt.
Due to several injurys the U18s only had 4 players and so played 7's using 3 Dorchester girls to complete the team. The first quater was slightly disjointed but as the game progressed the girls started working together as a team and their ball handling skills improved enormously.
Well done one and all and thanks to all the parents for your support. Next week Oakmedians away....
