On a day when, unusually, the u16 squad struggled for numbers, Sherborne were beaten by the better team on the day.
Travelling with just 14 players meant some early re-organisation for the Sherborne side and the hosts' pacy and well drilled backs exploited a gaping hole in Sherborne's back line for the first score.
Sherborne responded well, their forwards getting in to the game, but pressure and a spell camped in the Trowbridge 22 didn't produce points. A well taken penalty gave the hosts a 10-0 half time lead.
Sherborne took some knocks and noticeably tired through the second half. The highlight for travelling supporters being a storming try capping a mature display from Jack Lewis.
